Real Madrid is looking to Launch £30million Bid for Steven Gerrard Transfer


Its been reported that Real Madrid is looking to cash Liverpool disappointed season by signing Steven Gerrard by offering £30million. Further reports added that Gerrard could move alongside Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez whose future remains unclear and who has been linked with Real Madrid in recent days.

According to Daily Star said in their report: “we believe those intentions are genuine and not just idle transfer speculation”.

Daily Star also claimed that Real will also launch a bid to hire Torres knowing that both players would enjoy working together. However due to Torres having a strong love of Atletico Madrid, a move to the Bernabeu may be out of the question.

Steven Gerrard is contracted to Liverpool until the end of 2012/2013. This season he has scored seven goals and provided six assists in 32 appearances in the Premier League and Europe.
